I have a seasonal FL res pass. I called to today to have it upgraded to a regular AP, as we have moved from Florida, yes honest abe i guess. plus we have a trip in august planned in a blackout period.
I have WL with a great AP rate in august. The CM said I would be fine checking in with the seasonal pass, just upgrade it at the window when i get to the parks. Since it is not expired or near expiration, she couldn't do it over the phone.
i'm confused. The blackout date will be in effect, how can this be right? she said that I just can't go into the parks with it, Disney still considers it an AP for resort discounts....
i want a seamless check in experience, and I don't think it is going to happen this way.
any advice or suggestions?
