Yet another AP question:
Is there any difference between the gate price and the online price? I know the website has discounted multi-day passes, but it doesn't mention a discount on the annual passes. The only thing I can think of is you probably save at least $2 (will-call fee) by getting them at the gate? Is that right? Any other reason to choose one over the other? Thanks!

No price difference. There is no discounts on AP's. The advantage of doing them at home is you can fill in everyone's info so it does not need to be done there.:thumbsup2

Thanks. Yes, I know they are already discounted, I was just trying to decide if I should buy online or wait until I'm at the parks. Because the multi day passes say "save $20 online" or something like that, I know they are more at the gate. Didn't know if there was a price difference on the AP. Anyway, am I correct that if I purchase online I will have to go to the kiosk to get the pass, and if I wait until I get there I will have to go to ticket services? Which would be quicker? Trying to save every bit of time!

The ticket booths always have lines. The kiosks seem to be pretty empty.

If you buy an AP online you have to pay for it in full on your CC

However, if you buy it at the gate you can opt for the flex pay option, where they charge you a large up front payment, and then smaller monthly payments. They do not charge any more for this option.

I opted to pay up front, so I don't have to wait in line and go to a window.

You can do FlexPay online also.:thumbsup2

Can I order my Universal Orlando® Annual Pass using FlexPay online? If so, what is the process?

Yes, you can order your Universal Orlando® Annual Pass using FlexPay through our online store. To order online follow these easy steps:

1. Create an account using our secure server
2. Choose how many passes you would like to purchase (limit 6)
3. Enter Passholder information for each pass
4. Agree to the terms and conditions in your FlexPay contract.
5. Order with the credit card you want used for monthly payments.

Thank you everyone. I think I will order online and pickup at the kiosk. It's certainly worth the $2 charge to not have to stand in line at a ticket booth!

Hmm -- I ordered my power pass on the phone and the rep told me I could only do flex pay if I picked up the passes at guest services... didn't try ordering online. I was also ordering the pass for the first time, and not renewing a pass.

Who knows with the CSR over the phone..:confused3

If you click begin purchase under the FlexPay amount it will take you to State and zip code. Then after that it says welcome to FlexPay and asks you to set up an account.;)

I don't think you can put the Power Pass on the flexpay, but you can with the preferred and premier APs.

I just checked and only Florida residents can have FlexPay with the Power Pass.:thumbsup2

Were you actually charged a fee? When I ordered my preferred pass I was not, and I just started a mock order and it showed that kiosk pickup (which could simply not have been easier) was free still.
