AP Pin Trading Lanyards?

This is our first year with APs - I have gotten some of the AP Pins - but I have also heard of AP Pin Trading Lanyards. Does anyone know if they are available each year, and if so, where would I buy one in the parks or resort? Thanks (wasn't sure whther to post this here or the pin trading board . . .)

In 2001 there were two that I know if, Animal Kingdom and 100 years. Haven't seen one since then.

Thanks for posting - where were the lanyards available for purchase - is it like the AP pins that are sold at a certain location, & you have to ask for them?

The Animal Kingdom lanyard you got at the Island Mercantile (you had to show that you renewed your AP). I got my 100 years lanyard at City Hall in MK, but know others who got theirs in EPCOT and MGM (this one had nothing to do with renewing).

You definitely had to ask for them. Keep any eye on the Collectors Board as someone usually posts when a new one comes out.
