Does anyone know if there are passholder lounges where you can sit quietly and cool off at WDW. I know there used to be a special lounge at Horizons for GE employees but I was just wondering if there was something similar for passholders. I seem to remember this but cannot remember if they did away with them.

No AP lounges any more. There is still a corporate lounge at Test Track for GM employees.

No AP lounge, but MK has a AAA members lounge. A/C, beverages, quiet place to relax. I'm not quite sure of all the rules, you may have to book thru AAA to gain access.

Other lounges do exist, I'm just not sure where :)

The AP lounges were great place to cool off and get away from the crowds for awhile. I especially liked the lounge in Epcot.

It would be nice if the lounges were brought back.

We did a world showcase secrets tour in May. We visited the lounges at SE, MS, LS, TT, and found them really neat to see. Some are not in use for lounges anymore, but can be rented out for special occasions. I'd have to say the neatest one was the one at Living Seas. Only used for meetings and special receptions now. It's got the same view if you were looking at the water through the main observation area but on the other side. Never new it was there.

I used to work in the Living Seas VIP Lounge back when United Technologies had offices there. I loved it! If you are inside the observation deck in Seas and look straight across the ride tunnel you can see the windows to the lounge. The place is gorgeous!!

The downstairs part of the lounge was open to UTC employees and provided them with a place to cool off, have a soda or juice and get backdoored into the attraction. The upstairs was reserved for VIPs or special groups. The Disney Board of Directors met there several times too.

So sad that most of the lounges are gone now.
