Wow, they are just wayyyyyyy to young for marriage. How are they going to afford a baby and a home...was that asked in the interview??
Yikes, my DS(26) graduated in May with an advanced degree (Masters) and his DF(24) will grad May '09 with an MBA and they are SCARED of what they will be facing with this economy. He has a great job (insurance...they say it is recession-proof) but it is still a very scary world out there.....![]()
How can two "youngsters" (yup IMHO they are youngsters) going to make it???![]()
An electrician in the oil fields will make more money than a lot of college graduates. Especially in this economy. I would rather be working as an electrician or an engineer, you know something that is necessary to day to day living, than selling insurance
. My dad sold insurance during the 70's recession and he said LOTS of people dropped their policies to be able to put gas in their cars and have electricity. Maybe your son should have majored in the hard sciences.
