AP - how to find rates

If I wanted to see how much it would cost to stay on an AP rate do I have to call WDW for the quote?

I'm trying to figure out if AP rates would be better than the 7/5 package.

The quickest way to get an answer would be to call CRO and have your codes handy when you do.

If you're not in a big hurry, you can get a quote from Dream Unlimited or any of the other travel agencies that specialize in Disney travel. They usually answer within 24 hours of receiving your request for a quote.

Actually for this current batch of AP codes, it's pretty easy to figure out the AP rates, without calling CRO. The AP rates are a certain $$$ amount off rack rates, depending on what level WDW hotel you decided to stay. The Value's are $30 off rack rate, Moderates are $60 off rack rate and Deluxes and HAFH's are $85 off rack rates. Here is a link to a chart of rack rates for all WDW hotels. I made a reservation at Wilderness Lodge for 6 nites at end of August using AP disc code. I plan to buy 1 AP and 3 6-nite passes. Here are details:

6 nites w/ AP disc at WL = $763
1 AP = $400
1 adt + 2 kids 6nite pass = 773
ttl = $1,936

Do you think this is my best deal? 7/5 offer for WL is $2264

AP gets a few other discs too, I believe

Cons: AP does not have admission to DisQuest, water parks; PH passes will have skip parks on either day of arrival or dept

Are they any other negatives that I don't see?
