AP hotel rates

Hey folks

Just wondering when, and if, any AP discounts will be available for any of the Universal hotels over the Christmas period and if so, when they are likely to be released?

2004 and 2005 did not have AP rates available during the week between Christmas and New Years.

However, if you can travel the week before, phenominal rates have been historically released.

The past two years, they have released a special right before Thanksgiving for the period of right after Thanksgiving to 12/23.

If I remember correctly, it was $129/$149 for RPR (weekday/weekends) with the 5th night free. They also threw in free resort parking and some drink coupons for the resort restaurants.

Search isn't working right now, but there are a few posts around November, '04 and November '05 that list the exact details.

We took advantage of the special in '04 and it was great.
