I have a question for Annual Passholders: How often do you receive AP Emails from Disney? We've been passholders since September and have not received anything! I've seen on other boards where some folks get monthly AP emails.

I'm especially interested since we're hoping for rumors/notification of Toy Story soft opening or previews. I believe Pandora notifications went out via email for previews, right?

I called a few weeks ago and made my husband do the same. Both CMs put in a "ticket" to have our accounts looked at, but we've still not received anything.

Did you check spam/promotions (if you have gmail)? I get the monthly newsletter in email & in the snail mail.

Do you only get something once you activate? I bought my first AP in January but won't activate it until Sept.

I had a similar issue with DVC emails. No idea why they would not make it to my AOL account. So I gave them another email account and I get them no problem. I don't get AP emails, either. But I do get my sister's, lol!

I get the newsletter once a month and get announcements as well. Have you activated them yet? Maybe check your MDE account and make sure the right email is there.

Can someone post the next time you get an email so we can see if we got them in a spam folder. I haven't received anything either. My AP isn't activated yet tho

My sister and I both have APs. Both active. She has never gotten an AP email. Ever. And she's signed up for everything and I believe she even called them once. I get all the AP emails, so I forward them to her. They're not in her spam or promotions folder. She just doesn't get them.

This is us! We all use gmail - me, husband, and both in-laws - and none of us have ever gotten any emails. It's like Disney picks and chooses who gets to be informed!

I asked why at MK entrance told had to get my magic bands for the ap - then I would get the stuff - been an ap member for a long time - one day will finally learn all the silly rules.

you would think the system would tell you this - it does not!

I have not gotten any emails for years. I recall getting a couple when I first got an AP years ago. I do receive an occasional snail mail newsletter but they send them to our Florida address which is only active in the winter.

I have reviewed my profile and my email info is up to date. I keep telling myself to stop in to Guest Services one day to see about it but then forget to do it.

Maybe that explains it. We haven't gotten new magic bands since the first year they offered them.

We've used our AP magic bands intermixed with our older ones (depending which matched the day's outfit, of course!). I think it's weird it's not something automatic. And it can't be based on if you bought tickets and upgraded vs bought APs outright upfront b/c we upgraded and my in-laws bought up front.

I'm glad to see we aren't the only ones in the boat!
