AP holders, do you need tickets to the DCA AP preview on June 11th?

I just got an email invite to enter this contest for the preview on June 11. Can't make it there that day. Is there any reason for me to enter? I mean, if I win, the pass is not transferable, right? If that's the case, it seems like it's better to not enter, and leave the contest to those who could use the pass.

Unforunately no. In the rules it indicates that the winner has to arrive with the confirmation and ID to show it's them.

Unfortunately I already signed up on my own AP before I saw this, but if it's OK, I would like to get on the list for 1 as a backup (morning or afternoon preferred.) The problem with this is that if I go I need to make air and hotel arrangements well before I'd be able to find out if I got in or not. I'm already looking into it (I might go down regardless since my AP has been burning a hole in my pocket, and I could use an excuse to get away) but it's kind of a pain to deal with.
