AP holder cancel hotel res. magic band still valid?

Did a search but didn't find this. We have reservations and AP vouchers. All hooked up on MDE using the voucher numbers and waiting for our 60 day out. Ordered our magic bands. Now find out that we might be able to stay at a family place off property. We'll probably do this at the last minute - couple of weeks out. If we cancel our reservations: 1. will our magic bands still be good because we have an annual pass? 2. will we lose any FP+ that are 30 days out even though we have an AP. I know this is pretty specific. Don't want to give out magic bands that might not be any good. AP magic bands can't be ordered until we activate our voucher on property so they'll be mailed to our home. Any thoughts?

Magic Bands are just a way to access the information in your MDE account and they don't have anything to do with having an onsite reservation - people staying offsite can buy them. As long as there's a valid ticket on your MDE account, the Magic Bands will work fine.
