I have one of the newer AP's. It has a number on it, but nothing else, and I don't remember what day I bought it. I tried logging in to find the exp date and can't figure it out. Anyone else know?

If you have it linked to your MDEx account you should be able to see the expiration date there. Hover your mouse over My Disney Experience and then choose My Reservations. You should see your AP under the ticket section and it should show the expiration date.

Be careful with this though. The expiration in MDE is 3 months different than the expiration on my actual AP. Still working on getting it fixed.

Thank you - I found it under My Tickets. I knew it had to be there somewhere!

There should have been a written date on the back of the ticket. The written date is what they use to determine if you pass is still valid for parking purposes.

I have a newer one too, and there is no expiration date on it. When they handed it to me (in exchange for the old one), they gave me a sharpie to write the date on it :goodvibes.

Me too!

I just laughed. Here they are building a $1 billion+ computer system that is supposed to do everything under the sun, yet they can't figure out how to use a printing process to print a date on a plastic card.

The written date is what they use to determine if you pass is still valid for parking purposes.

The intent was/is to use "hand-held scanners" for MagicBands/RFID tickets at the parking lot entrances for this purpose.

However, they have since discovered that the hand-held scanners' batteries fail much too soon to be very practical for these kind of things.

So many technical problems!

They wrote the expiration date and also names on ours when we activated them. The parking is noted in print as valid for 13/14.
