AP early registration emails?

Hello,

Did any Annual Passholders actually receive an email with a link to register early for WDW Marathon Weekend 2014?

I did not (even though my AP is registered on both Disneyland and WDW passholder sites).

Both RunDisney and WDW Online Communications expressly stated that emails with links would be sent.

Thanks to this thread, I knew that early registration for passholders had opened

I just want to know if Disney did send out early registration links to annual passholders (and my experience was an anomaly), or if I should write to RunDisney and to Passholder communicaitons and request improved reliability in this regard.

I didn't get a notice for Annual Passholder early registration either. (And I've registered my pass online, etc... did everything possible to connect my name and email to the annual pass).

I don't have a good impression of Disney's email marketing system in general, though... I get all the junky, irrelevant emails from them but never the emails I actually sign up for and want.

Agreed!!

I did get my email from Chase Disney Visa about their advance purchase and discounts for marathon weekend, which worked for me and I signed up right away. But no AP email.

Thank you, respondents, for letting me know.

I felt uncomfortable the entire week prior to April 9 (open registration) thinking about all the people who might not get in because they were rightfully expecting, but didn't get, an email announcing the start of AP early registration.

And thank you to the Dopey thread and the entire Disboards for fantastic information reporting, entertainment, encouragement, and fun

I'm not an AP holder, but I do have the Disney Visa. I only knew about early registration because the RD facebook page mentioned something about it. I went to the Chase website and all they had was a phone number. I posted a question on DIS and someone gave me the link. I never would have known without seeing that blurb on facebook!

I thought I was the only one! I figured by now I would have got one. I only knew cause of Facebook and Twitter about registration.

I never got an email for the AP or the Visa! I am not running but they don't know that!

Come to think of it, I did not get an email.

I found out about early registration (through AP or DVC) from the boards, I guess, and so never expected I'd get an email about that, but no, I didn't get an emial on the 9th or even the 8th about normal registration. Wow, that's frustrating!

Then again, I guess by the 9th I'd already registered, so maybe that knocked me off the list? Can't remember if I used the same email though.
