AP discounts question

Hi all,
My 4 year old is currently the only one in our family with an active AP. How does this work with dining discounts, merchandise discounts, etc?
We will be purchasing ours if sales reopen but just in case they don't, I am wondering what we're eligible for with his pass.

I would have to assume you can use it for merch and dining discounts - they never seem to check the name on the pass, just ask to see it. Room discounts? I would call the AP number and ask; it's not your fault the whole group doesn't have the discount, since you can't renew. Good luck!

It's probably going to be up to the CMs you deal with each time. Officially the passholder must present ID and make the purchase.

This is what I’m hoping for, thank you. Worst case he’s an authorized user on my Disney Visa so we can use that card and the names will match lol.

I've sent my teenagers with passes for food and fun purchases; one isn't old enough for an ID yet, and have never had a problem. If you were breaking a rule, it would be different - but you have a legit person with an Annual Pass, so I would think merch and dining discounts should be fine.
