Newbie to Universal but veteran to WDW. Looking to stay for 3 nights at RPH to get access to the FOTL and convenience of being close.
From my reading I am seeing that it may be beneficial to get 1 AP. From what I read I could get up to 30% on the room and I could get 15% discount on the tickets 2 day tickets for the rest of the family. Plus additional discounts at restaurants and shops. If that is all true I would save a bundle if I bought an AP.
When can I expect the AP room discounts to be released for March? Do people usually post them here or can you find out what they are before you buy the AP?
Do you need to buy the AP prior to the trip to get the discounts or can you get it when you arrive?
Should I wait until 1/1/2011 to buy the AP? From the Universal site it says all the discounts/benefits are good through 12/31/10. I'd hate to buy one now and then find out on 1/1/11 that I wouldn't get the same discounts!
Thanks for any help or advice! I feel so lost. Planning for WDW is so easy and Universal is unknown territory!
