AP discount

I am new to this site. Can someone tell me what an AP discount is? Thanks!

An AP discount is a discount given to Annual Passholders. You can get discounts on rooms, tours, boat rental etc. They only offer discounts for room at special times and in a limited quantity.

I think AP discounts can be up to 40% off. DV means Disney Visa. There were some discounts offered to Disney Visa holders, which weren't quite as good as the Ap discounts, but still pretty good for those of us who don't have AP's.

Does an AP run from Jan.-Dec. or for a year from the date you buy it?
How do you get an AP...from a Disney Store?
Is it easy to get an AP discount and how soon before you plan to be at Fort Wilderness should you call for a reservation to get your AP discount?

If you're still reading this thread, I'll see if I can help with AP discounts.

First, you don't need the AP until you check in. You can buy them at the Disney store and I think online. They are good for one year from the first day of use.

Getting an AP discount can be challenging! You have to watch the resorts board and mousesavers to see when they become available for your stay. Then call ASAP!
