AP Discount

I wish the Orbitz deal worked for my dates. Travel is 9/28-10/5 but the discounted rooms don't come up unless I punch in dates for Late october so I must be outside the window

Weird... I tried the Orbitz deal, and it's only $25 less than the one I've booked directly with Disney. Since I've already paid my deposit on that booking, I'll just keep it and hope there's an AP discount that comes out that I can call and have applied.

Question for if and when these discounts are released:

Are they viewable by the general public on Disney's site, or are they only viewable by those whoe already have APs? I'm trying to figure out whehter it's worth it for me to purchase an AP, and the amount of room discount, if any, will be the deciding factor. Can't figure out how to do that if I need an AP just to check the rate!

Thanks.

It's private you have to login with a valid Annual Pass attached to your MDE account but if you post your dates and resort choice in sure someone can check for you, I know I would!

Got it.

Going 11/15 to 11/22. Would be interested in CR-Tower (Bay View or TPV) or GF. Currently in GF-Outer-Lagoon.

Honestly, I want it for TIW but it isn't worth it if the room discount isn't enough.

Thanks!

Nicole, do you know if you can get access with AP's attached to your MDE account but not yet activated? We bought passes this week for our trip in November, but it won't let me access the AP site. I was hoping that the certificate numbers might work - they arrived today (can't wait to get home!).

If not, if someone could check Port Orleans Riverside - Gardenview Room for 11/13 - 11/16, I would appreciate it.

Yes I have done this! There should be a barcode somewhere on the certificate and that's what you use! I don't remember which number, but I think it's the one on the right side! I just remember being frustrated and trying all the numbers and it worked! Lol

I'm new to either an annual pass discount and bb offers (been to Disney many times but never taken advantage of a discount before. First time annual passholder, never done bb) So hoping you can give me some advice.

I have been thinking of a bounceback offer from my upcoming trip in mid October for a trip in Late April 2015. I'm hoping for a room only discount, but if it's free dining offer in October (not sure?) would it be better to wait for when annual pass discounts would be available?

I do have a deposit put down for next April just in case (that I can either cancel or apply a discount to if possible) Just so I have a place I want to stay in case neither turns out. a room discount would be more savings for me than free dining.

Anyway, I'm assuming that annual pass discounts for late April 2015 won't be out till quite a bit after October?
Thanks for the help.

We have stayed in the fall a couple of times, and the bounce back offer has been for a return trip the following Sept/Oct. We have also visited in April, and the bounce back was for the Sept/Oct of the same year. I wouldn't hold out for an offer this fall for the spring. Just as an FYI.

Just get off the phone with WDW. No AP rates for October/ November out yet!!

Try again tomorrow...

The current dates can be booked through September 24th I hope we don't have to wait until then.

This is unreal, Do I really have to wait until the first week of September like last year when my trip is September 28th?

I called again this morning to see when they expect the discount to come out, and I was told late August, beginning of September.

I so hear you.. Every year I think the same thing, with all the money we pay for our AP you would think our discounts would come out earlier? I end up every year going with the GP discount because the rooms sell out so fast and their discounts come out way before the AP discounts do.. I know they hold some back for the AP holders but it can't be alot because they are gone by the time they let the AP discount out, at least with the rooms I have tried for. I might be re-thinking my AP for next year..
:confused3
