AP Discount

Sorry, that the first time I'd had that offer come up on the website for me. Of course I'm happy if the website even comes up properly up here! Hopefully Disney releases something new before Sept 26th then.

I just looked (for about the fourth time today), and even the one that is book by Sept. 26 isn't there. Hmmm . . wonder why? It's been there every time I've looked in the past several weeks.

I need Sept 28 - Oct 2. Come on, Disney. Throw your pass holders a bone here. :)

No Passholder rates today....the CM said give it about a week and try back for our dates in October...

Hiya, :hyper:

Just checked online, and no changes yet either.

But, I have been checking our dates for just rack rate room > and it is very limited, and several resorts are sold out. So I am not real hopeful.
Unless your dates are very flexible & so is your resort choice, it might not happen.
I was hoping to save a bit more, and consolidate my "general" discount. I had to break it up into 3 different stays just to get all my dates with a discount. Will be alot of checking in and out. :confused3 Hoping not having to change rooms.

Happy Planning, mky :wizard:

Does anyone know when the AP rates usually come out for May reservations? We are staying at POR next May and I don't want to miss booking with an AP rate.

I am pretty sure we booked with the AP discount for this past May in February.:)

I am finding the same thing for my December dates -when I search under the GP discount, there is almost nothing available at any level!

I was also anxiously anticipating the release of AP rates this morning...

Folks, if you haven't already, I would book with the GP room only discount and switch to AP when it comes out. We are doing during Jersey Week and ended up at AKL (with the GP discount) since none of the EPCOT resorts are available (for discount OR at rack rate) and the POR discount was puny.

This is what I did but I wasn't sure what happened if I did online check-in and then tried to change either my rate, room category or even the resort. Would that prevent me from doing it?
I wanted to do online check-in so as to hopefully trigger MyMagic+ testing for our room. It probably wouldn't work but it never hurts to try. :goodvibes

Great advice!
When is Jersey week?

Excellent advice! We were luckily to get the GP for 6 of our nights. We had booked with a AAA rate months ago. I am so glad we did because we needed to use that discount for our last night. Under the GP discount almost nothing was available for some of our dates.

I haven't been in the fall for several years. Is it always like this?

I'm doing MyMagic+ testing later this month and I still haven't done on-line check in yet, so you don't need to be checked in to get it. You just need to be staying at a participating resort. I never do on-line check in until 10-14 days in advance.

This is what I have been seeing for the last two weeks when I look at the AP special offers page (direct copy and paste).

The joys of MDE maybe...I was hoping for 35% at deluxe :( It would figure that when I buy an AP the passholder rates would end up being the same as general public!

I just looked on my AP page and what you have captioned is the General Public offer. I think there is a glitch on your computer lol. My computer will only display half of the page when I try to book on line so I can never choose my hotel. That means I have to call. Oh well. I am trying to be patient but I am giving up hope quickly. This might be the first Christmas I'm not at disney in a very long time.

I also see that, as the GP offer. Nothing new today.

There isn't really just an AP Special Offers Page anymore. They lump all the special offers together, but you can only see the AP (or FL resident) in addition to the GP if you are logged in as an AP holder (sometimes, you have to log in twice :confused3)

I HATE this new way of listing them.
