AP Discount for HHN tickets

We're arriving on the 2nd and two of our group want to go to HHN on 11/3. We're getting annual passes for everyone, but I didn't buy them yet and we won't be able to activate them until 11/3. Is the discount big enough to wait to buy tickets and take the chance that it could sell out? or is it small enough that I should just suck it up and buy the tickets now?

The last night can be busy. Not sure if it will sell out, but there's a chance since they've had other sell out nights.

I decided to suck it up and get the tickets and the express passes. This is probably the only time we'll be there when HHN is open so I want them to be able to see/do as much as possible.
