I am thinking about getting AP's for my children for our April 08 trip (ages 9 and 13). DH and I are covered for that trip with leftover days on old park hoppers.

If I get the AP for my 13 y/o, can I get the DDE card (or does the holder have to be an adult?).

Or, could I get an AP for myself and let my 13 y/o use my old park hopper?

Any advise would be appreciated!

I believe the DDE card holder has to be an adult. I would save the park hopper leftovers for another trip and get either yourself or your dh an AP. If you won't be getting more than one trip out of the AP, then just get one for an adult and get everyone else non-expire. hoppers...for as many days as possible. That's what I do with my dh. He only goes every other year or so, so an AP isn't a good idea for him. I got him a non-expire 10 day hopper about 2 years ago, and he still has one day left on it, after 3 trips!!
Dd got an AP for our August trip because she and I were going to go back in July next year, but now we find out she will be in camp for July...so I really wish I had gotten her the 10 day hopper as well.

DDE card holder has to be an adult, probably because discount is good on alcoholic beverages.
