Now that the Beach Club Villas are opening in July, I'm thinking about possibly staying there! Has anyone been able to get an AP or DC discount? I just called CRO, but they are still telling me that they aren't opening till August 25! Silly CRO, they can never keep up!

Cali
The date just changed in the last couple of days to July 1st. I dont see any discounts right now due to it being new.

Not a member yet of BCV but w/in a month I will be.

Hey Cali-D!!! :)

You'd be better off renting DVC points! ;) That is what we are doing... it works out to be $240 a night for a one bedroom villa. ;) Which I think is a pretty good deal.

I was able to get a DC discount for a 2 bedroom BC Villa in early August.

The BCV aren't opening to current DVC members to choose with points until march 6th. So I would think that sometime after that they will be offering discounts.

I'm thinking of waiting until March/April to rent DVC points. I think if that works out it might be the cheapest way. KarenP, could you tell me how much you paid for your 2 bd villa with the DC discount? And for what season? I'm looking at Value season in November. Thanks.

Bumping to see if anyone got an AP discount? I tried to use the discount on the WDW site, but they don't offer the BCV.

With the summer special, I was given a price of $455 per night plus tax for a 2 bedroom (in July). Didn't think to ask about APs, though.

that seems like a pretty good rate for the 2 bedroom! :)

Laura :)

21 days til WDW!!!! yipeeeeeeeeeeee :) :) :)

Hi Erika! :) We won't be staying at the BCV. :( But, we will be at the Grand Floridian. :) My great cousin bought DVC @ BCV, so I'll get to try the place out in February 2004. :) However, when I'm there in July, I plan on going over and asking to see some units, to get pictures! I'll will also be taking pictures of the entire resort!!! :)

What did you end up booking at the GF??? ;)

LOL, I'll have to let you know 3 weeks before we leave when I make my final change. :D Right now I have lagoon view.

LOL :p

I think Lagoon view is great :) .... RPC is soooo expensive, I doubt we'd ever do it again. Maybe on a special anniversary without the kids, but even then I doubt it.

You were in Big Pine Key last time, right? I've always wanted to try Boca Chica. :) Love the floral theme. :)

Yep, I was in Big Pine Key. I've also stayed in Conch Key.

Originally, I was booked for the main building for my upcoming trip (actually, both my upcoming trip and my past trip to the Grand Floridian were both originally booked as Concierge Deluxe, I've switched both to lagoon now).
