It's looking like AP rates are few and far between this fall....I did better with the Best Rate Program last year.

I am going to call again tonight and see if maybe anyone switched around their reservations....hopefully something will open up or in the very very least I would like to apply the AP rate to my existing reservation.

I'm on hold now for about 10 minutes so far...

I'm booked at the AAA rate at Pop Century...around $63 per night during our 12/16 to 12/23 stay in value season. I'm looking to upgrade to a moderate if they are under $100 per night.

Did anyone book a moderate during value season at the AP rate yet? What was your rate (pre tax or after tax)?

I'll let you know what I get when I'm finished holding....

CR, WL, AKL, BC, YC, BW, with a mod as a back up (POR or POFQ most likely). Does anyone have any prices per night on any of these?

Well, just spent (25 minutes on hold) 30 minutes on the phone with reservations. It doesn't look like the campground is participating. Was looking for 12-02 - 12/16 at Ft. Wilderness, partial hookup and the rate he quoted me was HIGHER than my AAA rate.

I may try again later and instead of trying to apply the rate to my existing reservation, I'll just try for a new reservation and see if that makes a difference.

What dates? I got standard BWI for $265 at the end of OCtober regular season.

I got WL Courtyard for $189 on 10/02...it was the only view available.

Looks like rates during Thanksgiving week for standard views are $115 + tax for CSR and $169 + tax for AKL. For those with experience with both (or either), is AKL worth $54 more a night than CSR (i.e. which is better deal)? Thanks

I got $70 off our 10/18-22 trip at POFQ--the original ressie was with AAA rate. The CM quoted some deluxes for me: AKL std savannah $250/night; CR MK view 345/night; YC 265/night.

I got the Caribbean Resort for $223 (with tax) for TWO nights Dec 8&9
I got the AKL for $302 (with tax) for TWO nights Dec 15&16
I am very happy with the savings!!!

Just for reference.......they said NO other Mods, WL, AKL, or VALUES for the 8th and 9th.
Also, no WL for the 15&16....I didn't check values.

Got AP discount at POFQ from 10-23 trhough 11-1. Total $1164 for 9 nights.
Saved $151 over the AAA rate, so I am happy.

Now to wait for Jan.'s to come out

Dec 8-13th - booked BWI for $263 (tax included) rack = $340 savings around $80/night
Poly GV was also avail for $244 (tax not included)
WL had NOTHING at all.

My question is...how come they have more rooms avail at WL over christmas?

I saved $273 over our AAA rate for the Poly GV on Oct.26-Nov.1. I was on hold forever, but once I spoke with someone, were finished in 5 minutes! I was just happy they had our dates.

I got my one night!!!!! Poly 10/12 - Garden View $325 inc tax

DD and I live in Orlando, so staying at deluxe resort is a treat (I CAN'T justify it too often!)

No school on Oct 12th or 13th, so it's a mini vacation. It will be so nice for leaving the party late - no driving home - even though it's only 35 min!!!!


Okay - now I'm set for the next few months -

1) 10/12 - MNSSHP with room and LTT for dinner & B-fast at Ohana's on
10/13
2) Thanksgiving dinner at Hollywood & Vine (unless I luck into a cancellation somewhere else)
3) MVMCP 12/1 - Dinner at CP
4) Christmas Eve Christmas Proc - 5:00pm eating lunch at Japan (DD loves sushi)
5) Christmas morning b-fast at CP.

I guess I need something for New Year's Eve or Day... my mother will be here!

BC, YC and BW are all $265 for that time period. Not sure about the other resorts.

$99 Per Night Before Tax

~$111.43 Per Night After Tax

Total With Tax For 7 Nights - POFQ - Value Season = $780
