AP cheaper than 2 day tickets?

I priced out 2 day park to park tickets and it was $300 more than getting an AP. Is this correct? I figure I can get three trips a one year AP if it is really only $1138 for 3 adults and 1 child APs.

You just have to watch the block out dates as well as concert dates. The lower end passes are an excellent deal!!!

2 day, 2 park tickets are $265 if you buy them online through the Universal website.

Seasonal 2 park passes are $284.
