AP Bridging Question

So, DVC just sent out a notice that Members can get WDW Premium Passes for $489/ticket. If I were to purchase one of these, and later upgrade it to the Ultimate/Platinum/Whatever they're calling the bi-coastal pass these days AP, would the "cost" of my WDW Premium Pass be the $489 or the $729 gate price?

I assume, of course, that I've used it at least one day....

If you purchase a DVC PAP for $484 under the upcoming promo, they will give you credit for $484 if you upgrade to a Disney Premier Passport.
