AP booking

We recently stayed at the RPR and booked online using the APH's discount.

The website stated that we would get a complimentary upgrade but when we checked in we were told that the hotel was full and we couldn't have one.

Has this happened to anyone else - I was a bit disappointed.

If the hotel is booked, there is no room to upgrade you to. A complimentary upgrade is only available if ther are empty rooms in a class (usually one class) above yours.

I have never gotten an upgrade from them...even with my Lowes Plantnium Card. Yet CPM, on the other hand, has gotten some really great upgrades. It is just a matter of availability..... and when I am there, I guess everyone else is too

I'm sorry, but if the website stated dbriggsq would receive a complimentary upgrade, it should be granted. They should have said that it would be subject to resort availability.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. Personally, I would write and complain about the unclearness.

I don't think the web site said that they definatly would...all of those upgrades are based upon availability, and it usually is in the fine print that we sometimes forget to read.
