ap block out busy or not that is the ?

I want to plan on going in the summer but im wanting to know what is the best time meaning its all about the rides and shorter lines?

this brings me to the ap block out is it bettewr to go when they are blocked out or when they are not?

looking @ july all ap are blocked out july 2-4th would this be a good time to go?

will it be busy this summer sure it will be but just looking @ a time where not everyone and there dog is there.

proably dreaming about shorter lines with the new rides and goofy sky school reopen lol

I would NOT go on 4th of July! Just because the lower level AP's are blocked (remember Premium AP have no blocked days) doesn't mean that families traveling on vacation aren't going to be there in droves. The reason certain days get blocked out for passholders is because Disney already anticipates those days to be very crowded. Your best bet is a non-holiday weekday.

yeah i would guess like christmas break they are blocked but it still sells out

remember premium an premier AP are not blocked out... but it is still busy for summer holidays and can be pretty busy in summer

last yr we went i think it was june 14-19 it was busier then last week in may

first week in aug was bad in 07

pretty flexable this summer just wanted to know what people think would be ideal?

may is out i want to be able to go on the new rides

I just responded to your PM I was there last 4th of July weekend *our days were 7/3-6 ~ we had a fantastic time, if you know what you're doing, get there early, use FPs - it's easy - our 1st rides of the day 3 of our 4 days were PP followed by Dumbo We walked on both!

We also visited Thanksgiving Day, Fri & Sat last year again no complaints about crowds from me.

lol i better know what im doing or im in trouble after 10 times. walk on pp and dumbo wow thats amazing.

you go disneyland a lot, so in the summer what would you suggest?

we pretty much open and shut the park down.

this place has me hooked now i know what a drug user feels like lmao

Well we don't visit in the summer much but after last year I would for sure. We did visit mid July 2009 *a Wed. again it was an easy day. We visited in June of 2007 and it was busy ~ must've been before APs were blocked

Don't I remember from reports last year that July and Aug had some strangely empty days????

We went July 09 over the 4th...the blacked out days were by far the best days we had. We walked onto most rides with very little wait. I highly suggest going at that time. We had Premium APs at that time.

In general when APs are blocked they expect high crowds.

but don't forget premium AP are not blocked, they have no black out days--and i remember that last summer in july on a saturday was pretty busy..
