I was wondering if the blackout day ticket ($40) is good for just one park or as a park hopper? If only good for one park, how do you go about getting the park hopper option for the blackout day, just buy a regular 1 day park hopper?

TIA!:goodvibes

I believe that the blockout ticket is a hopper. I have an AP but haven't used a blackout ticket yet but my sister has and if I remember correctly it is a hopper but I'm not 100% sure.

It is definitely a park hopper. You just use the blackout pass as your ticket to both parks for the day.

I just purchased one on Monday. You don't have to wait in the normal ticket line. Go to Guest Services. You will always be able to get 2 fastpasses at a time, one with the pass and one with the ticket :c)

GREAT!! Thanks!:cool1:

We bought blackout tickets for our group of 5. We went through the turnstiles at Disneyland no problem. Then hubby took youngest back for a nap, so he took 2 of the blackout tickets with him to get back in.

Later in the day we went over to DCA and as she scanned our tickets she said the names did not match. We did not know that each individual ticket had a name on it.

So if you are going with a group make sure everyone gets the right ticket.
