Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of the benefits of being an AP holder or can anyone tell me?

Also I oredered them online and have to get them when I get to the parks does anyone know how this is done and if it is easy to do?

Thanks for any help!

Here's a link for the preferred annual pass:

When you get into the parks you'll go to (vacation services?) I know in IOA it's to the LEFT as soon as you go in. The people at the turnstyles will point you in the correct direction. The ealier the better as the lines get longer as the days go on. You'll fill out some info, get your pic and be on your way! :cool1:

Edited to correct the direction of vacation services at IOA- I was thinking of right as in when you are exiting! Duh!! lol You know, listen to what I mean, not what I say ;)

Thanks for such a fast response! I have a question though as a AP holder do we pay $4.00 for parking and I'm a little confused about the valet parking. Thanks again!

Not so much fast, I just had good timing ;)

Parking is free but we (pass holders) can upgrade to preferred parking if we choose and pay the $4 for that.

I believe the valet parking is normally charged by an hourly basis. As a passholder you only have to pay for 2 hours no matter how long you are there. I've never used it so I have no clue what that hourly rate would be. Maybe someone else can help with that one.

If you ordered online and are having the passes delivered to you, you will get an admittance ticket to go inside the gates and get your AP. If you are picking them up at the park, then you go to the ticket kiosk "will call" and it will print off your pass to get inside the gate.

Once you have your ticket to get in the park, you just go to Vacation Services to get your picture taken. At IOA it is on the left after you enter the gates. Go toward the exit toward where the wheelchair, stroller rentals are. Vacation services is a building with a blue roof.

At Universal, you walk past guest services and it is the very next building. It is on the right side at Universal Studios.

You will have to pay for parking the first time you go as you won't have your AP with picture on it yet.

We use the valet parking it is $8.00 all day whether you stay for 2 hours or 10 hours, it puts you right at the entrance of City Walk barely any walking involved.

I think we've had this discussion before and it seems to depend on who's manning the booth. I did not have to pay for parking, I just told them I was getting AP's and showed them the paperwork and that was it. Others have had to pay. Won't hurt to try.

I was referring to valet parking not preferred parking or regular parking if you look you will see a sign for valet parking. I have never done preferred parking or regular parking so I don't know how those work.

Technically they are supposed to charge you even if you are going in to pick up your AP. That doesn't mean they will always charge though. You might get someone that either doesn't know the rule or is just being nice.
