AP and TIW

We are going in March and although we will have 10 free days to visit the park, we are planning on only getting 8 day park hoppers. Now, after hours of reading, I am considering an AP for one of us (traveling with dh, dd(12) and dd(6)). Then getting one TIW. We probably won't return within a year to use the AP and I understand that we will pay more $$ upfront. Saving the 20% I believe will end up saving us some in the long run though. In addition we are going to VB in August and I would hope to use TIW then too. Having said that, I am wondering:

Do I order the AP and TIW ahead of our trip?

We have advanced dinning rsvs for Cinderalla's Royal Table. I noticed today that my credit card has already been billed for that. Is there a way to some how use the TIW even though it was booked without it?

In addition, if I can get any other advanced rsvs how do I get to apply the TIW without actually having it?

Thanks for any help.. as you can see, I need it!! :rotfl2:

You can order your AP ahead of your trip through member services or the member website, it will be effective when you exchange the voucher at WDW. You can get the TIW card when you get to WDW. If you order it now, it will be effective now, not when you get to WDW.

I don't know how they handle reservations for restaurants that require pre-payment. You may get a refund at the restaurant, I have seen them give people Disney gift cards.

Work the math out. Would it be better to buy 1 AP so you can get the TIW and the rest park hoppers? You can get the AP's and TIW at any Guest Relations location at WDW.
