AP and resort rates??

I have been watching for discounts for Oct and I remembered that one AP could be used to discount up to 3 rooms. Now I am reading that it can only be used for one room. Which is correct??

What I've been reading is that it may be new policy or a rumor. I've not seen it officially yet.

I saw another thread that said it was policy now, but not well know by CM and didn't include exsisting reservations. Does that mean I can apply an AP rate if/when they come out for Oct on my current 3 rooms or only one??
