AP and magic bands

If I get an AP for me and get grandkids plain tickets do they still get magic bands if everyone is linked on MyDisneyExperience?

Yes, assuming you are staying onsite. They can still get them if staying off site but you would have to purchase them, yours would be free as an AP holder.

Only if they are staying on property. Otherwise, they are available for purchase.

Only if all of you are staying onsite. If you are not staying onsite you will receive a band for having the AP and if you want the kids to have bands, you'll need to purchase them.

One more question. With one AP and other tickets linked, can I still do FP+ 60 days out for all of us or do I have to wait for the 30 day window?

60 days out is for onsite stays. 30 days out is for everyone else including AP holders.

If you are an AP holder staying onsite you book at 60 days. If you are staying offsite you book at 30.
