AP and free theme park parking...

Hi. I'm not sure where to ask this so if I'm in the wrong place please forgive me. My DH and I have APs. My parents are coming into Disney with us one day. We usually use Disney transportation but my folks live about an hour and a half away. If we ride with them into Epcot can we show our APs and they can park for free? When do they check on the way in or out? After dinner they are heading home and we (dh, DD and myself) will be using Disney transportation. My parents have weekday resident passes but that doesn't allow free parking. Thanks.

They check on the way in at the ticket booth. You just have to show the ticket to the attendant.

Yeah - the gate attendants barely look at the expiration date much less ask for an ID. Just show the pass and you are on your way!

You don't have to be driving...you only have to be in the car. My family all has APs, but mine (the driver) isn't always the easiest one to get out. We've never had a problem using one of the other APs, but the attendant has on occasion peered into the car to make sure the AP holder is there!
