If you want to add the dining plan and with an AP- does everyone in room need an AP? I was planning on getting an AP for myself and using some leftover non exp that my kids have

If you want to book a ticketless package with dining that AP-ers can book, only one adult in the room needs an AP, not everyone.

You need one adult AP to book the AP room plus dining package.

Perhaps someone here can answer this question. I posted it on the resort boards and never got an answer. Is 18 considered the adult age for booking at WDW?

An 18 year old AP-er would not be able to purchase the DDE, since DDE includes discounts on adult beverages.

DDE can be purchased only by persons age 21 or older. But they wouldn't serve alcohol to anybody under 21 at any rate.

Thank you for your answers. She isn't wanting DDE anyway, but I'm glad you told me for future reference. Now, if she books the room can she also purchase the DDP since she is an AP holder?

She would have to book a room/dining package through Disney.

She is an adult AP holder, and old enough to book a room. As far as I know they should not have any problem with that.
