AP and Dining Plan past May?

I know AP rates are only out through May but has any AP holder booked a room at rack rate for later in the year with dining?? Also, has anyone successfully used one of the pin code room promos to add to AP dining?

Here is our situation: We have a 20% pin code package starting 12/7. We have a room only for 12/6 (our arrival day) since the code doesn't start until 12/7. We were thinking about getting AP's and changing our room only for 12/6 to an AP with Dining (don't care if there is an AP discount- we just want our tickets and dining!) and our pin code ressie to room only with AP dining in lieu of a package.

Can this be done???

I had a pin code, but bought APs and got a much better rate and added DP. We are now at the BC for $259/nihgt in April. we were originally at Poly for $399/night. We will be going back in Nov so it was absolutely worth it for us. We are now paying less for this whole trip including APs then we were for the original 7 night Poly stay. The CM told me AP dining is beign extended throught the end of the year. You may want to wait before you change what you have and see what comes along for AP rates for your date.

We booked a room at POP for September at rack rate ($82) and were able to add AP dining no problem.

Another twist to the question... if they are offering Bounceback for 2009(room % discount not free dining) would we be able to do this as a room only and add AP dining???

we had originally booked POP as a bounceback (I think it's bounceback, the offer was in our room last week) for $65 a night. When we called back immediately to see if we could add dining, the girl said no problem, but ended up cancelling the first rate and rebooking it as AP plus dining. After much back and forth with Guest Relations, they told us that we could only get AP dining with the AP rate of $82, not with the special bounceback rate. But, they assured me that if a better AP rate came out, I could call and have that applied. We were hoping to add it to the original rate.
