AP activation

I hate to ask a stupid question, but are you able to activate AP vouchers at MCO. We are arriving late Tommorow and I'm afraid that I won't be able to get to DTD before 11:30.

You can't activate a voucher at MCO. You can buy an activated pass at the Disney store there, however. You would have to check the store's hours since you said that you were arriving late and the store may be closed by then.

why would you want it activated before you could even use it? to get your AP room discount?

Yes, I needed to activate in order to get my AP discount

Actually, you don't need it to be activated to get the discount. They may not even ask to see it when you check in. Just be sure to bring your voucher and that will be good enough, no need to activate first.
