AOL subscribers to MouseSavers Newsletter

Hi all,

I am posting this on the Community Board because I know a lot of you are subscribers to the MouseSavers Newsletter. It appears that the vast majority of my subscribers who have AOL did not receive their July 15 newsletter.

I have spent most of the morning on the phone with AOL and corresponding with the company that sends out my newsletter. AOL claims there's no problem. The newsletter mailing service says AOL is reporting all the newsletters were properly delivered, which clearly isn't the case. Apparently this isn't uncommon with AOL. :(

Anyway, a few minutes ago I re-sent the newsletter to all of my AOL subscribers. Keep your fingers crossed and check your mailbox!

Allow a few hours for delivery. If you haven't received the newsletter by tomorrow, please post here and I will go back to AOL and try again!

Thanks for your patience, and please understand that I'm at least as frustrated as you are!

Mary, I had offered to send to people who missed the Newsletter. I noticed when I forwarded the news letter that the subject was having problems w/ AOL subscribers.

I got mine about 30 minutes ago??

My company also has problems with AOL when it comes to the mass emails. Apparently if you are sending an email to more than (100?) people, AOL may or may not assume it's junk mail. THey recommended to my company to divide up our emails into smaller groups.
 
Cheryl, thanks for helping people out! I hope you don't get deluged -- thousands of people didn't get the newsletter, it appears. That's why, much it upsets me, I'm just not able to send individual copies out to everyone who reports not getting one. It would take up all of my time!

Melrosgirl, I know it's not just my newsletter that has AOL problems! Unfortunately with nearly 50,000 subscribers it's not too workable to send the newsletter out in small batches. AOL claims I'm "whitelisted" and therefore it's not necessary to do that, anyway. Who knows?

I did not get the first letter. I thought it was myself in the registering for the newsletter (just signed up last month)
 
I was pleasantly surprised to get my newsletter today since I just signed up yesterday. I wasn't expecting one until next month.

I've got it now. :teeth: Thanks, Mary! But I didn't receive it when it was previously sent. Hope all is worked out. ;)
 
Thanks Mary! I got mine at 4:30 this afternoon. :) Seems they worked out the bug. Hopefully, eh? :)
 
Thanks for the resend, Mary. Not an AOL user here (I did get mine several days ago) but just wanted to than you for the great site you maintain, all the helpful info you provide and great newsletters. Good job.
