AoA vs BC

i know at first read you might wonder why I'm comparing these two but I have a few reasons. I was considering booking a 2 bedroom villa at BC (stayed in a standard room at YC last year and loved it but have two more adults this trip) but also don't LOVE the idea of how much money it is to stay there. So I was thinking a Nemo family suite. I was wondering how much I'll miss or if I would be unhappy with the amenities at AoA. I've never stayed at a value only deluxe but I know so many people that enjoy values a lot. A few things to note; I have a 3 yr old little girl who probably won't care either way (or maybe even like AoA better?). No one else in my party cares where we stay. It's ultimately up to me. We will have three resort days along side of our four park days so is there enough to do at AoA compared to BC to be worth the savings in money?

I would have a hard time recommending any Value over any Deluxe, even one as well themed as AoA. Especially if you will be doing "resort days". The 3 yr. old would probably choose AoA also, but everyone else in your party will thank you for choosing BC. Lol

I haven't stayed a BC, but I just got back from a stay at AOA. I'm not sure how many people you have staying with you. It sounds like maybe 4 adults and one child. Your child will probably love AoA. I actually really liked it too. It is very well themed. We stayed in a Finding Nemo suite. You will have a place for everyone to sleep at AoA. The murphy bed is actually really comfortable. Keep in mind that there is only one bedroom so the people sleeping in the common area may not really have a place to keep all their things. To me it seemed a bit cramped. We had me, DH, my mom, and my two daughters. My kids are young so we had a double stroller in the room and a pack n play. Without those things taking up space, it may have seemed roomier. Another thing I didn't care for was there were no closets. Typically, we don't empty out our suitcases but with little ones, I do bring stuff that I take out and have a few empty bags that I typically store in a closet. Since there were no closets, we were walking around them. My mom actually used the drawer space in the common room so we all wouldn't be walking over her suitcase.

The theming of the resort is just fun. We ate at the food court a lot. It was generally good. My 4 year old loved the Big Blue Pool. It was just fun to walk around and take photos. I'm not sure you would want to fill three days with that though. The CMs at AoA were great. I really think it depends on how much you like amenities such as full service restaurants on site. I think the pool was awesome at AoA, but I'm sure it doesn't compare to Beach Club. There isn't a slide or anything like that. The splash area for kids was really nice. Also transportation to the MK seemed to take a long time. The buses were actually great while we were there. I don't think we ever waited loner than 10 min. Just travel time to the MK seemed long. Whereas with BC, you can walk to two parks.

We loved AoA when we stayed. There would not be enough for our family to do with that many resort days at AoA. The food court there was quite good but it was a food court and that got old fast. You have to leave the resort to have a sit down table service meal. I love how at the BC it is so easy to get to so many places to eat.
Also at AoA while there are 2 bathroom there is hardly any storage and if 2 adults are staying on the couch or murphy bed they won't have anywhere to hang their clothes and not much privacy. The 2 adults that stay in the master bedroom will have plenty of privacy.
Your 3 year old will be happy no matter what - although she may be thrilled with the Nemo splash pad and all of the Disney characters around the resort.

Exactly about the restaurant. That's our biggest issue with AoA. We usually eat at least one sit down meal a day normally dinner. It would suck to have to always be leaving to eat. But the savings is so huge......

Why a 2 br suite? why not just get 2 rooms at BC? that is still more than AoA but less than the 2br suite or villa
