AoA suites ~ likes / dislikes

The time will be coming when we bring kids friends w/us to the world. That will make us a group of six. Are the only accomaodations for 6 family suites. I have to say I do not like the idea of 1 real bed and the rest being a table or sofa that you then loose the use of when someone needs to retire for the evening. Especially since the price seem higher than that of two value rooms. I could care less about the kitchenette, from the pics it seems useless.

Have you thought about ASMusic suites? They don't have the murphy bed where the table turns into a bed at AoA. You can find pictures here on the DIS at ASMu. You could get two rooms at LM, you probably will find the sleeping arrangement more comfortable, everyone gets to sleep on the actual real bed. You will also get two bathrooms, and no kitchenette. And it is probably cheaper than the suites. Good luck on your decision.

This is what I was thinking. I recommended this for a coworker and the two toher families he was going with. It worked well for them!

Other options for a group of 6 are:

Ft. Wilderness Cabin
Coronado Springs, Jr. Suite
Wilderness Lodge - Deluxe Room, Club Level

We just stayed at AoA a few weeks ago and, yes, the kitchenette was useless. If the above are over your budget, I would definitely look into 2 rooms at AoA or another value to save money over the family suites.
