We are now 3 instead of 2 going to WDW, me my DD20 and my DS 9. The original ressie is for Wilderness Lodge but now after doing some research I see we can get. Family suite at AOA for the same price. Question is should we switch to AoA to get a suite with our free dining or stick with WL smaller room and stay Deluxe and have free dining. Price is the same, but I am concerned that we will encounter LOTS of small crying children at AoA that we may not encounter at WL. I am not concerned about QS food or anything like that. I think food wise we would ok either place. :cool1:

What would you do and where would you stay? :confused3

I would stay at WL because I think it's a nicer resort.

The next person to post will tell you the exact opposite.

The person after that will tell you the opposite of THAT.

There is not a bad resort at WDW.

You will enjoy anywhere you stay, I always have.

You will encounter just as many small crying children at WL as AOA. :) - Don't let that be your deciding factor.
I would most definitely stick with WL - the room will be smaller than a suite, but with only 3, the room at WL will be more than enough room.

I would stay at WL. There are crying tired overstimulated kids everywhere. Mine is usually at WL!

There are going to be lots of small crying children all over the place. :confused3

If it were me making the decision for myself and DD, it'd be a no-brainer: WL here we come. It's second only to the GF for me in terms of favorite resorts. WL is beautiful inside and out. The architecture, room size and details, and landscaping of the deluxe resorts far outweigh those of a value and those details are important to me.

The WL is an amazingly beautiful resort. Besides the beautiful architecture and the lovely woodsy setting, there is the convenience of either a 5 minute bus ride or a 12 minute boat ride to Magic Kingdom. It is a great place to stay.

The only reason I would choose an AoA suite over the WL is if I really wanted the separate beds. You would get two queen beds with the WL.

I personally would stay at the WL. It is a really nice resort. :)

My choice would be WL. We've never stayed at AoA or any other value, but we love the WL. The WL is a beautiful resort with great CS, awesome pool, and great transportation. We've had two stays at the WL and the second stay was just as amazing as the first.

My vote easily goes to WL. WL is my family's favorite resort. It's just so incredibly beautiful and the location on Bay Lake is amazing.:cloud9:

WL is a beautiful resort and destination onto itself. I would definitely stay there! Also, your free dining at AOA would be the Quick Service Plan and you would have to pay to upgrade to the regular DDP (I think, somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

Oh....I forgot that small technicality. Thanks for the reminder!

I think we will stay with WL. Looking forward to a Deluxe and the beautiful atmosphere!

Thanks everyone!
