AoA resort question ????

I'm thinking of booking AoA in Sept. This would be 1 night only in the Little Mermaid room before transfering over to our DVC stay at BWV for the next 7 nights. My concern is that after looking at the resort map that the LM rooms are VERY far away from the lobby and bus stops. Can anyone provide any info on how far away these rooms actually are from these areas? Thanks much

People have commented in the AoA thread (which is very long), that it is no more of a 5 min. (some say 10 min.) walk. We are going in Oct. and have a 4 year old, so I assume it will be a 10 min. walk for us.

From the farthest point, it will probably be anywhere from a quarter to a third of a mile, depending on where the walkways are placed...this is based on using the actual map and a website that lets you mark a route and track its distance (gmap-pedometer.com).
