Hello, I am really torn between staying at AOA LM or POP with the 20% off. We are going Aug 25/30 and it would be a difference of $139 between the two. Is it really worth it to stay at AOA? I can take out Sunday and it would be almost the same price. It is my son (5), me and his father going? Is the bridge a long walk from pop? Can I go in AOA pools if I stay at POP? Is POP better? Please help so confused? I can shift my dates a little but not during free dining. :( thank you everyone in advance!

While AoA is a nice resort, and it was fun to stay at a new resort (we stayed in LM the second week they were open) We are going back to POP this year. The bridge is not a long walk, it actually makes for a nice evening walk.

AoA pools require key access, so you would not be able to use them if you stay at POP. Also, the LM rooms are the furthest back from the main building and the bus stops, I believe it was about a 7-10 min walk. After a long day at the parks, it seemed longer. :confused3

When it comes to our Disney trips, my husband's only request has always been that we eat at Chef Mickeys, now he has asked that we never stay at AoA again. He wasn't too fond of the menu or the long trek to the room. The plus would be if they put a drink station at the LM Pool. :cool1:

Not sure if this helps, and of course this is just my opinion!;)

We had to make this same decision and we are sticking with AoA. We have stayed at Pop and it was just okay, nothing special. We did not care for the food there. It was pretty gross typical food court food.

The menu at AoA really appeals to us (it looks unique and delicious... I hope it is!) and I know my son will love the zero entry pool and splash area for little ones. We don't mind walking so a few extra minutes at the end of the day won't bother us. I hope it is worth the difference. I am pretty sure it will be for us.

Just FYI, I could be wrong but I think it is 15% off the values- or am I wrong?

Thank u so much guys!! The 15% is only on suites n not LM rooms!! I will keep you updated

Shoot I calculated our difference out at 15%, because I thought that's what it was. Well, I am still sticking with AoA anyway. I would let you know if I think it's worth no discount after our stay, but we are going right after you :)

I'm cheap. Excuse me, I'm an avid bargain shopper. Pop at a 20% discount. You can't swim at AoA, but book a Standard location and request 60s facing the lake. You'll be close to the bridge to walk over to landscape of Flavors.
