We are staying at AoA this upcoming week and are worried about huge waits at the Skyline stations in the mornings to Epcot and DHS. I read somewhere (might have been here) that there is/has been bus service available from AoA to Epcot and/or DHS in the morning. Are the buses currently running or is the Skyliner the best way to go? Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly, I haven't seen huge lines for the skyliner in the morning. People tend to trickle in and that means the lines are never that bad. Even a line that looks long will probably not be more than 5-10 minutes. If you have an early event like a breakfast ADR, you could consider Uber or Lyft, sometimes the peace of mind is worth the $10.

In the evenings, it can be a problem if you wait until park close. Coming out of HS, I've seen a line that was legitimately 30 minutes, it wrapped around twice. Fortunately, the Friendship boat back to my Epcot resort was an option.

Buses have been running in regular rotation all day from AoA to Epcot and DHS since reopening. Note, the same is not true for Pop, which is Skyliner only to those two parks.

I think it is prudent to plan for rope drop Skyliner lines both at the AoA/Pop station and the CBR transfer station. While the lines do move, no doubt the 1 party per Skyliner distancing setup does create bottlenecks at peak periods such as rope drop and park closing.

Reading that answer, I realize I neglected to answer about the bus. I haven't stayed at AoA, but I understand the bus service is limited to Epcot and HS, only running once per hour - that's based on blogger reports from Jan. I would defer to someone who has stayed at the resort recently of course.

Have been numerous times and stayed here. The buses seemed to be every 15 minutes to EPCOT and HS. If HS came first we got on it and walked over to EPCOT.
Also took the sky liner but later returning back.
