Tuesday 28th
We were both up at 9am. Andy fancied Dennys for breakfast so about 10am, we were off to the 192. Well, I have never seen Dennys so packed. People were waiting 30 minutes for tables. There were people scattered outside and it was heaving inside the entrance. We turned round and walked out. Instead, we tried the Burger King next door. It was empty we soon discovered why. They hardly ever get an order correct here apparently. So many people complained while we were there. Theyd even put regular coke in the diet coke section of the drinks fountain thankfully they had 2 fountains going and the other diet coke pump was fine. They missed out the ranch from my burger too but I didnt realise until Id half the burger. It was reasonable but I wouldnt hurry back.
From here, we drove to the Premium Outlets so hubby could raid Nike again. He came away with 2 more pairs of joggers, 3 more t-shirts and a long sleeved top Id liked on him. It was very busy so we didnt bother going into the other shops. Instead we drove to Epcot. I wanted to see Off Kilter again and ride Figment. We parked in Discover and got the tram to the front.
Again, Spaceship Earth had such a huge line that we skipped it. We went straight to Living Seas as we hadnt done this at all last time Id visited this was in 1989 during my 1st ever trip. We watched the movie then headed for the hydralators. Andy commented during the journey that he liked the way they tried to make you think you were actually going down. There was a huge line for the Crush exhibit so we just wandered around. I really enjoyed it here. I didnt see any dolphins though, which was a shame.
We walked towards Figment and there was only a 10 minute wait so we joined the line. We were soon in our car going through the labs. I love Figment, and this ride. Great fun! On our way out, we stopped at Imageworks where I fell in love with a photo of the Walt Disney World sign and it said Happy Holidays on it. We had our image put onto the picture and it looked fab, so we paid for it and were told to come back in 40 minutes to pick it up. (I will get hubby to scan and hopefully add it at the end of the reports.)
We walked to World Showcase so I could get my Off Kilter fix, for the last time this trip. Again they were wonderful. There was a little girl in the audience who jigged and danced the whole time she went bright red when they applauded her at the end. Hubby recorded it for me again so I now have an hour of Off Kilter to watch whenever I feel like it.
Once the band finished, we headed back to Imageworks so we could pick up our photo (I will post it as soon as Ive scanned it in!). By the time we left (Spaceship Earth was still so busy) it was nearing 5pm so we headed for yes youve guessed it Chilis! Boneless shanghai wings as per usual, then chicken and mushroom jack fajitas for me and chicken crispers for hubby. After a quick drink at Classic Concoctions, it was back to our room to pack for our move to the Contemporary. It took ages we blame the WB for it, too many good shows on! We watched Whose Line Is It Anyway on ABC Family first, then That 70s Show, Seinfield, Malcolm in the Middle, Just Shoot Me and Becker to mention a few we finally finished packing about 1am!
