Anywhere in the parks to rock your child?

My dd is almost 2 and at night will go to sleep on her own, but during the day for naps, I usually rock her at home. I'm concerned about being out at parks during the day because she won't nap if we are just walking around and if she doesn't nap, then it will be a bad night..lol Is there anywhere that has rocking chairs or a quiet place to sit and let her fall asleep? I know I can go back to the room, but was wondering what to do if we are in the parks, just in case. Once she's asleep, she'll sleep through anything, it's just getting there sometimes :) Thanks!

baby/child care centers in all parks - usually near first aid (shown on park maps). Also can heat up formula, change baby diapers, breast feed, etc...

perhaps the Baby Care Centers might have rockers but I'm not sure anymore.

Try posting on the Family Board down the page from this board. Someone there will be able to tell you for sure.

I think there might be rocking chairs on the porch of Liberty Tree Tavern. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I remember rocking somewhere in that area.

lol....thanks....I can't ever figure out which board to post on...

I wasn't sure if those rooms were just for infants or not. Thanks!

There are rockers at LTT or by it---- but that's really high traffic area. Don't know that you'd be able to get a toddler to go to sleep in that enviroment if they can't fall asleep in their stroller.

If you need a little break, head over to WL, a quick boat ride away. They have a wonderful lobby full of rocking chairs and it's pretty quite most of the time.

Take her for a ride on the Kilimanjaro Safaris..no, seriously!! I see many, many of the 2 and under set, daily...asleep and being carried off the trucks :p The rocking/jostling motion works wonders ;)

That is a WONDERFUL idea! Never thought of that one....lol That makes sense though...except for the parts where they act like someone is chasing them and speed off...lol Good advice :)

The baby clubs in each park have rocking chairs.

Each park's Baby Care Center is different, but they all have rocking chairs. One thing I didn't like about the one in MK is that the room with the rocking chairs is the "nursing room," so DH couldn't rock DS while I was nursing DD. Although the sign says "nursing mothers only," I'm sure it won't be a problem for you to rock your DD.

At AK, they have individual nursing rooms with rockers, which is very nice. I only used the changing tables at Epcot, and I never went into the one at DS.
