Anyway of knowing if skyliner is down due to rain

Point taken on having to wait for all different scenarios and I will have to take you at your work that they tried the buses out in front of the park but very few people used them.

However, I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibilities to update MDE as the Skyliner goes up and down. They do this every day for the attractions with wait times and whether the attraction is temporarily closed. There is no set time when Remy's Ratatouille Adventure closes down due to technical difficulties, but you are alerted to it on MDE app.
Oh I’m with you. I wish I could tell you why, you would understand a lot easier. Unfortunately not allowed to disclose that.
But trust me, everything that comes up as a solution to the problem, creates even a bigger problem. Like I said before, it’s too slow. The new bus pick up so far seems to be the easiest way.
A lot of procedural things can’t be discussed. But just to insure you, problems don’t get ignored.

Can you please explain this? Where or what is the “new bus pickup” location or process when the Skyliner goes down? TIA!
From my understanding, they no longer have you walk from the station to the front of the park. They send buses behind the scenes to pick you up next to the station. Caribean Beach station, they do the same thing. They send guest down so many at a time to load onto buses to empty the station.
My guess is like the CBR, you will be escorted so many at a time.

Thanks! Recent posts on the Pop Century thread on the Resorts board confirm this with recent experiences, but it sounds like not all CMs in Epcot are aware yet.

and most likely won’t. It’s a huge operation with many balls in the air at one time which you don’t see 80 percent of it. They all try their best but it’s impossible for everyone to know every aspect.
example
I recall one day directing someone to the bus stop at studio’s, I recommended them to check the board of which stop they needed. The person couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t tell the the bus stop number. There are close to 80 bus stops, even if I did memorize them, they change them here and there for many reasons.

If you look up and the gondolas aren't moving, it's down. 😂 (sorry. i couldn't resist)
