What are the parks like over New Year and when do the decorations come down?

Thanks

There is a fun New Years Party held at CityWalk. Lots of food and drinks and a firework show. They also have a live band. Mant on these boards that have gone enjoyed themselves.

Grinchmas and The Macys Parade start around the 11th or 12th of Dec.Its lots of fun and the decorations are beautiful. You should be OK date wise since I recall it runs till the beginning of Jan, maybe like the 4th.

They do a live show during the day at Suess Landing with the whovilles and the grinch and Max is there too. The hotels also offer holiday festivities but that schedule wont be out for a while.

I love Universal during Christmastime.. Theres plenty of decorations.. the tree at the Studios was amazing this past year. Christmas music is pumped all over the speakers around the entire park.. I heard A LOT of my favorites like Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime".. I forget what else but I know I was singing along a lot..There's lots of huge floats all around.. I didn't get to see the Macy's Holiday Parade but I saw pictures and it was great. The atmosphere is wonderful during this time..

Over at Islands, I don't remember as many decorations.. but Seussland is definitely transformed for Grinchmas. The "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" show is really nicely put together. All the kids sit around the stage while the adults stand back. It's intimate and really nice. All the Who's take pictures with the kids before the show and I know the Grinch has a meet & greet area too.
