Anything special at Disney Springs on Halloween?

We'll have already done one MNSSHP and are looking for something to do on Halloween night. Does DS have any trick or treating or anything special?
Also, I read somewhere about character meet & greets at the Disney resorts??

I think your best bet is the Disney resorts.

You'll have to wait until October to check out the resort times/events guides. Each resort will have different types of things like Halloween movies, characters in costumes (Poly has Elvis Stitch, etc), trick or treating and games.

He'll have the time details..I am not sure if he does the exact character at which resort.

A few years ago my friends and I made a challenge to see how many resorts special characters we could hit up on Halloween night. It's nice because some are at different times. We started at the All Stars (which had mostly the Fab 5 in different costumes, my fav was Goofy as football player Goofy), then we went to AKL and Kidani, they had Timon and someone else I forget. We did some of the moderates, Port Orleans French Quarter had the very rare Louis the alligator from Princess and the Frog, Coronado had...I think it was Pluto in a serape. There were rumors that the 3 caballeros might be there but they weren't that year. Contemporary had Chip and Jail in jail outfits, they left right as we walked up. Poly had Elvis Stitch. I forget who was at GF. The characters do sometimes change from year to year. Our last stop was Boardwalk which had a great party and scarecrow Mickey.

We met some guys along the way at the all stars who were also resort party hopping for characters and we exchanged numbers and went to different resorts and let the other group know which characters were there so we could try to get all the rare/good ones.

Just Halloween night. Except for the Halloween movies, those might be the whole month or at least Halloween week.
