Anything I should know about "skipping" a FP+ ?

We have used the FP+ system several times but have never missed one. Next week I have Mission Space selected but I know we wont use it and just planned on skipping it. Will that interfere with getting additional fastpasses later in the day or is there some other detriment to doing this? TIA

You can let any and all FP+ reservations "expire" without penalty.

Are you planning on using later FPs in a different park? Otherwise, why not just switch it to something you will use at a later time?

OR...

There IS a technique that will allow the choosing of a "4th" FP+ after actually USING only one or two of the original 3 FP+ choices that day.
And, that "4th" FP+ can be a repeat of the same attraction (I'll guess Soarin') that was already ridden via FP+ earlier in the day (if there remain any FP+ for Soarin' at the time the guest can book the 4th FP+.)

No--I have skipped several due to being the only person in my party unable to ride. Doesn't mess anything up.

Only potential hiccup is if it is your last pass--the window may have to expire before you can get your 4th. ( I have not nor cared to try any techniques--so this statement is simply about the system as it is.)

We plan on being in WS from late afternoon on so no opportunity to use one there. I think I will switch it to Figment for around the time we will be reentering Epcot after our afternoon break . The people I am with can decide to use it or head straight to WS as planned.

We were in the same boat. We switched it to the character spot. The kids will like that better. Might as well make all 3 for something you will use, rather than waste one.
