We have never flown SW before. We fly out of Detroit on Thursday with a stop in Memphis (no plane change). Back the same way a week later.
I got early bird check in for both flights, as my 24 hour times were bad (outgoing I'm at work at 24 hours with an iffy computer; incoming we will be at MK).
Does early bird mean I can check in at 36 hours, or that they preassign a boarding letter/number?
Coming home, I don't think POR is up and running for magical express yet. So I get the concierge desk to print out our boarding passes (again, I think with letters/ numbers preassigned), take bags with us on bus, and do curbside checkin at MCO, right?
Sorry to sound so stupid. We are used to the whole ME/RAC process with Northwest, but the SW fare was too good to pass up. I am hoping against hope that the RAC is working at POR by April 8.
