Anything going on Sat March 3, 2012?

We are thinking of taking a San Diego trip in March and might hit Disneyland on Saturday the 3rd of March. Is there anything extra crazy going on that day that would increase crowds? I've done summer, I've done Thanksgiving, so I can handle crowds, but I just want to make sure there's nothing that's going to make it extreme.

Other than it being a Saturday I don't think there's anything special going on. Easter is on April 8th so I don't think you'd be affected by spring break at all.

Thanks! Just making sure it wasn't a convention, or bat day, or something like that where it'd draw more crowds.

Caveat: I'm not tuned into Bat Day or such things. There are always conventions in town, but the biggie is NAMM in January. If you're wary of crowds maybe you could visit on a weekday.

We'll be there right before then, so I've been watching for information regarding early March. Just read this thread about a cheer competition at DCA a while ago: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2845687

I'm not sure what kind of impact this cheer competition will have, but I'd be interested if anyone has information to share!

Interesting, thanks for the info! I guess we'll keep watching. I'd rather go on Saturday and be able to see fireworks/fantasmic with moderate crowds than miss those with light crowds. We may end up staying a couple of days. I was trying to plan a San Diego only trip, but temptation got the best of us and we can't resist driving up to Anaheim!
