Anyplace to get Vera Bradley at discount?

My daughter has been asking for a Vera Bradley bag for her birthday this year and as Ive never purchased VB before I was just wondering if you all buy directly from VB.com or go through a different place with discounts?

Ebay? I've purchased a few VB items on ebay...you just have to know the regular retail price to make sure you're getting a bargain.

Also, the regular retail stores will sell the retiring patterns for 25% off. I think this is standard and VB website does the same I believe. That's not a bad deal if she isn't looking for a specific new pattern or something. Good luck!

That is not a retired color so it will be tough to find much of a discount. You never know about Ebay though so check it out. Find out the exact bag your daughter wants (there are tons of different styles) and price and give it a go. You just might get lucky.
I love Vera Bradley, I have to stop buying them.

If you have Discover Card reward dollars, you can get double dollars at Crabtree and Evelyn (store). They sell the Vera Bradley bags, so using double rewards, a good deal. I just bought my first!

Alot of Hallmark stores carry retired bags at a great discount. I also was at Marshalls today and they had a few left, not sure if they were new or retired.

I work part time at Marshalls and tonight we put out a lot of Vera Bradley bags. All of the patterns are retired but great prices. One of the cute bag styles I liked had the Vera tag for $60 and the Marshalls price for $24.99. Will another pattern due, no Rasberry Fizz

eBags and eBay are your friends!! Also see if you can find anyone going to one of their outlet sales. I had a friend shop for me at the spring outlet sale in Indiana and I got some good deals (a lot of stuff shows up on eBay after those outlet sales, too)

We have a Plato's Closet-a consignment store that sells name brand clothes (mostly teens-like Ambercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister). I got 2 Vera Bradleys-one for $10 (gave to DS's girlfriend because she liked it) & one for $16 that looked brand new (it's mine!). They had about 6-7 purses last time I went. See if you have something like that in your area.
